Summary of conservapedia:
Atheism is evil.
Evolution is evil.
Christians are good, honest, hardworking people.
Anytime an evolutionist mentions a creator, they are not IDers’ but deceitful atheists trying to weaken christianity.
Islam etc does not count.
Atheism is a conspiracy of devil-worshippers trying to suppress all of the evidence for creation.
For factual accuracy, I would place conservapedia about on par with uncyclopedia.

I think it’s serious, but that a few sneaky’s have gone and changed it up, for comic relief.
Thankfully, it is the view of a minority in America (and a very small one at that), and though it may look scary, it’s not really a threat to anything.
Pretty funny though , .

i can’t believe there are so many people out there that are so stupid they believe the stuff on conservapedia in this day and age. it’s 2010, douche bags. start doing research and learn something, instead of what you hear in church and on fox news. both of those resources are useless, pointless, and therefore a complete waste of time

I agree, Grisha. It’s the response of the religious right to wikipedia. You might find that the articles “reflect the opinion of Republicans and traditionalists” (that alone is a giveaway; it shouldn’t reflect opinions but represent FACTS), but just a cursory glance at some of their articles reveal a HUGE pro-Christian slant. Take a look at the main page for starters; you’d be hardpressed to find an article that DOESN’T deal with Christianity or the bible. Compare the entries of George W. Bush and Barack Hussein Obama, their refusal to use BCE and CE, their “conservative bible project”, and countless others.

Here’s a sample of the popular articles at conservapedia:
Evolution
Atheism
Jesus Christ
Bible
Intelligent design
Creationism
Creation Science
Hollywood values
Creation Ministries International
Theology
Christianity
Christian apologetics
God
Etc., etc., etc. You get the picture.

However, I fully agree that conservapedia is a joke!

It’s NOT a religious response to wikipedia! The Conservapedia articles reflect the opinion of the Republicans and the traditionalists who support the Republican Party.
Not all the faithful people (Christians, Muslims, Jews, Jehovah’s Witnesses etc) like the Republicans, and not all the atheists are liberals. These are steroyotypes. I’m confident that you can find an atheist who may heartedly oppose abortion or object to homosexual behavior on either moral, psychological or medical grounds.

But I agree that Conservapedia is a joke. Funny that they accused Wikipedia of being biased…
